Onshore Wind Permit & Community Manager


The role shall cover onshore wind permits and community relations initiatives/deliverables


  • Permit and community relations management for onshore wind project;
  • Outsourced permit and community consultant management;
  • Onshore wind site office management;
  • Maintain familiarity with contracts and documents in order to ensure that work is executed in accordance with Vena Energy’s expectations and that the work fulfils contractual requirements;
  • Being periodically on site to oversee all of the development process;
  • Inspect and review works being carried out by directly employed and subcontracted resources and ensure that they are achieving the required quality and standards to the latest information;
  • Maintain a register of all observations and record the close out of any remedial works;
  • Check and monitor site activities, in accordance with general technical guidelines, applicable standards and specific requirements laid down in the specifications, in order to control and record the quality of the work;
  • Review and implement the environmental requirements on the project, coordinate environmental control measures and report environmental emergencies and incidents;
  • Provide support to site management on root cause analysis and investigation;
  • Ensure that the development project plans are properly executed and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing procedures; and
  • Perform or verify that all required development quality control sampling, testing and documentation are performed correctly.


  • Business, Engineering or any related course graduate


  • 3 years of permit & community management in construction industry
  • Electrical or civil engineering background
  • Experiences with sub-contractor management


  • Highly developed communication skills that stimulate, motivate and build effective working relationships with vendors
  • Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure
  • Knowledge on quality controls of development permit documentation
  • Business level English communication ability, both verbal and written.
  • Must be a Korean national
