The role shall take ownership of all permit and land conversion applications. Likewise, coordinate data and information from other departments to prepare bidding documents and complete the bidding process.
Assist in identifying and analyzing business opportunities and project risks.
Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the solar industry in Taiwan.
Liaise with government agencies and local offices to apply and secure permits required for financial close and commercial operations date (COD) for Type I and Type III solar projects.
Liaise with advisors, government authorities, local utilities, contractors and financial institutions to negotiate and close off all required contracts such as synchronization evaluation letter from Taipower, record approval from BOE, power purchase agreement with Taipower and EPC contracts.
Assist in identifying contractual obligations for contracts entered into and ensuring that the team meets all obligations.
At least 2 years’ experience in land conversion and permit application
Experience in solar related industry may be an advantage
Excellent communication skill in both Chinese and English
Knowledgeable in MS office (i.e.word, ppt, excel, etc.)
Familiar with renewable energy related laws
Familiarity with land conversion
Background in permit application processes
Effective in managing multiple processes & in meeting timelines
