Equis Commissioned over 400MW of Renewable Energy Projects

Singapore, 27 March, 2017 – In 2015, Equis, Asia’s largest independent renewable energy investor, commissioned nine (9) solar, wind and hydro projects in India, Japan and the Philippines, with a total generation capacity of 407.4 MW.

In India, Equis commissioned four wind projects in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat with generation capacity of 206 MW, and a hydro project in Sikkim added another 96 MW of generation capacity. In the Philippines, Equis commissioned a 30 MW solar project in Leyte and a 54 MW wind project in Rizal, as well as two solar projects in Japan’s Hiroshima and Hyogo prefectures with total generation capacity of 21.4 MW.
