Vena Energy has recently been recognised with three prestigious awards in Taiwan:
- 2024 CommonWealth Sustainable Citizenship Award – Taiwan’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies
- British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCTaipei) Better Business Awards – Runner-Up for Best Renewable Energy Award
- The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Award – Silver Award
The CommonWealth Sustainable Citizenship Award is one of Taiwan’s most influential ESG accolades, evaluating companies based on international standards across four key areas: corporate governance, corporate commitment, social engagement, and environmental sustainability. Vena Energy ranked 13th in the Foreign Enterprise category, standing out as the only renewable energy company recognised among Taiwan’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies in 2024. Our commitment to environmental stewardship, employee empowerment, and community support is at the core of this achievement.

The RoSPA Award, the UK’s largest health and safety accolade, evaluates the management of workplace health and safety. Vena Energy, along with our local partners and suppliers, has accumulated over 2.5 million hours of zero-incident work in Taiwan. This marks the second consecutive year we have earned this distinction, underscoring our unwavering commitment to a safe and healthy working environment.
“These awards are a testament to our ongoing efforts to drive Taiwan’s energy transition while maintaining excellence in sustainability, social responsibility, and occupational safety. As we continue to progress, we are steadfast in our commitment to innovation and sustainable development, driving further contributions to Taiwan’s renewable energy landscape while collaboratively engineering a greener future,” comments Lee Wen Cheng, Head of Taiwan at Vena Energy.
