The 2024 CHR Health Corporate Citizenship Awards enters its 6th year and introduced a new category, the “Healthy 99” companies. Out of 226 organisations who applied across Taiwan, 99 companies received the CHR certification for their commitment to employee health and well-being.
Vena Energy was recognised as a “Healthy 99” company in the foreign enterprise category (foreign enterprises in Taiwan) and was the only company in the energy industry to receive this distinction. Our employee engagement programmes address key moments in employees’ lives, from mental and physical health to career development and growth, setting a standard for exceptional care.
“The health and well-being of our employees have always been our top priority. Our health and wellness benefits go beyond traditional offerings through our ‘V-Evolution’ programme, which addresses three key areas: #MeTime, #MeHealth, and #MeCare, creating a workplace culture that prioritises personal well-being and diversity.” comments Lee Wen Cheng, Head of Taiwan at Vena Energy.
- #MeTime acknowledges the sacred importance of personal time through birthdays, a reason to celebrate, and sabbaticals, a tangible opportunity for rejuvenation or self-improvement and growth
- #MeHealth focuses on overall mental and physical well-being through mindfulness apps, fertility support and egg freezing programmes to demonstrate the importance of fertility choices and career development.
- #MeCare extends beyond the individual to encompass the community at largethrough volunteer leave, and flexi-family care leave.
At Vena Energy, our core mission is to accelerate the energy transition across the Asia-Pacific region, and we believe that fostering a healthy and supportive workplace is key to achieving that goal.
