Anil Nangia is the Head of Energy Storage & New Technologies at Vena Energy, and he is responsible for the business development of battery and hydrogen energy storage solutions.
Prior to his current role, Anil was Head of Vena Energy Australia, and oversaw the business development, partnerships, and renewable assets in the Australian market.
Anil possesses an intimate understanding of the Australian energy market, having spent most of his career and life in Australia and a veteran with over 20-years of experience in utility-scale solar, wind, and bioenergy power development. Prior to Vena Energy, Anil has held senior positions at Ratchaburi Australia, Transfield Services, Origin Energy, Ergon Energy, and Queensland Gas.
Anil has also held project leadership roles for bioenergy at Isis Sugar Mills, Suncoast Gold Macadamia, solar projects at Collinsville PV and Collinsville Solar Thermal, as well as wind projects at Mt Emerald, Collector, and Barn Hill in Australia.
Anil graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Melbourne University and received an MBA from the University of Queensland.
