Last Saturday our colleagues from Vena Energy Taiwan participated clean-up exercise, in partnership with the National Property Administration (NPA) and the Kaoshsiung Wild Bird Society (KWBS), in the surrounding wetlands of our 70 MW Mingus Solar Project in Chiayi County.
Vena Energy Taiwan celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival, or 端午節 with its host communities by donating 50 bags of rice to 50 low-income families in the MeiNung Township in Kaoshiung.
Between 22 to 28 May Vena Energy Japan and Nippon Wind Energy (NWE) donated a total of 12,000 surgical masks to its wind project host communities in Aomori, Fukui , Tottori, Kagoshima, Kumamoto and Shimane.
These surgical masks will assist the communities that may face shortage of surgical masks and other essentials.

Today we partnered with Willing Hearts, an NGO wholly run by volunteers, who operates a soup kitchen that prepares, cooks, and distributes daily meals to beneficiaries including the elderly, the disabled, low-income families, children from single-parent families, and migrant workers.
On 13 May, we made a donation to the Singapore Red Cross to support their continued efforts in providing assistance to the elderly, migrant workers, the disabled and the brave men and women at the front-lines of this difficult time.
On Friday (17-April) we donated personal hygiene and daily essentials to 500 migrant workers at the Clementi Peak dormitory, in response to the recent rise in COVID-19 infection cases amongst the workers in Singapore.
