Kwangjin Cheong is the Regional Head, Korea and Taiwan. Based in Seoul, Kwangjin leads the business development, investment, contractor management, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), and Operations and Maintenance for all projects and partnerships in Korea and Taiwan.
Before Vena Energy, Kwangjin was serving as the Representative Director and Chief Investment Officer of Nippon Renewable Energy, one of the largest renewable energy development and investment companies in Japan.
With more than 15-years’ experience in utility-scale renewable energy, Kwangjin has held leadership roles responsible for corporate management, investment, project financing, and EPC management that support and contribute to new market penetration and business growth. Prior to Nippon Renewable Energy, Kwangjin also held senior roles at international renewable energy companies such as SunEdison, Conergy, and SCHOTT.
Kwangjin graduated with an MBA in business economics from the Helsinki School of Economics.
