ABOUT THE POSITION

• Lead the team in conducting resource inventory for both forest and agricultural resources

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data gathering (GPS readings, tree mensuration, tagging)
2. Records
3. Geotagging (waypoint and photos)
4. Tree species correct identification
5. Facilitate coordination meetings with GIS and on-site team for the processing of inventory data
6. Facilitate coordination meetings with the inventory team including DENR personnel i.e. toolbox and regular safety reminders
7. Manage all physical and electronic copies of records and data gathered on ground
8. On-time submission of data to GIS team for processing
9. Preparation of reports including but not limited to the following:

• • Inventory sheets/tally sheets for the entire FLAg area, for NGP area and for PCA data)
  • Stand Stock Table (NGP, FLAg and PCA)
  • Geotagged photo layouts (NGP, FLAg and PCA)
  • Inventory report (endorsement) (NGP, FLAg and PCA)
  • Post inspection reports (DENR and PCA)
  • All other reports deemed necessary

10. Perform other tasks that may be assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry

Experience

• With at least 3 years of proven working experience in Forestry
• Willing to work in Northern Samar
