Vena Energy Taiwan celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival, or 端午節 with its host communities by donating 50 bags of rice to 50 low-income families in the MeiNung Township in Kaoshiung. Additionally, we donated the raw ingredients and materials for making 1,000 traditional rice dumplings (粽子) to the Taixi Township in Yunlin, and participated in the festivities with the townspeople.
During this festival, families often come together to wrap the fragrant glutinous rice stuffed with a variety of ingredients and meats into bamboo leaves, and enjoy eating them as a family. Caring and engaging our host communities is vital to the understanding and development of our renewable energy projects, we look forward to more opportunities to play a role in supporting their community and livelihoods.
