Vena Energy Breaks Ground on the Nakaura Wind Project in Nagasaki Prefecture

Vena Energy, Asia-Pacific’s leading renewable energy company, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the “Nakaura” Wind Project in Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The construction of the Nakaura Wind Project will be managed by Vena Energy Engineering K.K, the licensed Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company of Vena Energy in Japan. The Project is scheduled to commence construction in December 2023.

“We are excited to commence construction on the Nakaura Wind Project, which will be built by Vena Energy’s  team of civil, construction, procurement, and engineering specialists. As a licensed EPC company in Japan, we have the capabilities, expertise, and resources in-house to design, procure and manage contractors  more efficiently, further reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of our projects,” said Raul Rienda, Country Head, Vena Energy Japan. “We look forward to delivering the Nakaura Wind Project to our host communities, and we will continue to work closely with our partners and stakeholders to accelerate the energy transition in Nagasaki, and in Japan.”
